Originator: Mike_H Guest Date:  29 May, 2007 - 09:48 PM    I have a M20 in my Islander 28 and love it but have some questions since I am no diesel mechanic. 1. Does the heat exchange unit have pencil zinks? 2. I do not see any glow plugs...does it use them and I am not recognizing them? The ignition key has a position for glow plugs if I am reading the 4 page booklet that came with the engine correctly. I always hod that position for abour 20 sec and then start the motor. 3. I see no air cleaner only a small retangular piece with what looks like a piece of foam. Is that the air intake and can the foam be taken out and cleaned? 4. Is there a repair manual out there for this engine? 5. I have not as of yet changed the fuel filters because I don't have any idea how to beed the system afterwrods. Could use help ther as well. The water seperator filter bowl show no signs of water. Thanks Mike_H
