Just cut the tube and peel it away, so to say.... Takes about 10 minutes in the shop.. Another Cummins design that only lasted a few months before it was X-ed.. To bad, Recon picked it up...

Thanks Mike. The calculator on BD says I should have a prop just under 24" with a pitch just under 17 degrees. Probably too much to cut down on mine. |

If what you are looking for uses a 3/4" pipe thread, it´s the same unit that we use in the B series Cummins.. I would not recommend a 1000W heater unless you have good shore power and a thermosta..... |

1484 is for advanced CAM timing. If you advance the cam one tooth, then fuel lobe hits injector earlier, and fuel will inject earlier. So 1460 with std cam timing and 1484 with advanced cam timing w..... |

No harm from trying 1.484. If it results in late injection timing, then engine may be harder to start (actually should start fine) and lower power and more grey smoke at full load. |

No risk to alternator, provided there is somewhere for output to go, and going to a battery through an isolator provides that. So try it and see if alternator wakes up and starts charging. Some alte..... |

The old throttle control was a round disc with a plate that was tightened down to create friction to stop creep. There is only a few ways to solve problem. You have to create friction either at cable ..... |
