Level-1 Member Big T   I repowered my custom cypress trawler. Old engine was cummins 903, 295 hp. Installed a CAT 3208NA, 210HP @ 2800 RPM. Transmition, shaft and prop are the same as on the old engine. Tranny, MG506, 1.97-.....

#1 Level-1 Member Fishn2day   test alternator with a voltmeter and see what it reads. If it´s less than 13.4 volts, it needs repair. Had TAMD 71´s with the alternator pulley on inside facing motor and they are French alternators. .....

#1 Forums Moderator Tony Athens   If what you are looking for uses a 3/4" pipe thread, it´s the same unit that we use in the B series Cummins.. I would not recommend a 1000W heater unless you have good shore power and a thermosta.....

#1 Forums Moderator Mike.c   Bruce, usually never have to replace seal unless engine has gone into an overheat condition and steam has distorted it. Just drain down coolant and replace stat. Be mindful when refilling coolant, .....
