The delay should have no effect on no load rpm. At no load the rack is probably only around 10-15% travel so the delay would have to be really buggered up to affect no load. What else was changed in..... |

the shutdown levers were not full open ,getting 2600 no load now. Rack and delay seem ok.
buffers are backed out until the idle is not affected. If I go in any more the idle raises with a hot engine..... |

I think it worthy of writing this follow up response. We determined that the cause, or should I say electrical failure was responsible for the engine buzzer on the starboard engine not to work.
