Level-1 Member Tomcat   I have JT 671TIB engines with hydraulic throttle delays that were not working. I got the Detroit gages and set them to the specs in my manual. They worked great almost no smoke on acceleration. A pro.....

#1 Level-3 Member Ski in NC   The delay should have no effect on no load rpm. At no load the rack is probably only around 10-15% travel so the delay would have to be really buggered up to affect no load. What else was changed in.....

#3 Level-1 Member Tomcat   the shutdown levers were not full open ,getting 2600 no load now. Rack and delay seem ok. buffers are backed out until the idle is not affected. If I go in any more the idle raises with a hot engine.....

Level-1 Member Mickey   41´ 1985 viking SF, 671TI´s Std. engine buzzer won´t energize with the flip of the toggle switch. All gauges and tach work while engine is running. Seems there is no power at the low oil pressure se.....

#2 Level-1 Member Mickey   I think it worthy of writing this follow up response. We determined that the cause, or should I say electrical failure was responsible for the engine buzzer on the starboard engine not to work. Many .....

#3 Level-1 Member Pakie   I had the mechanic pull the head on the right side of the engine. The pistons, valves and rings look good. The head seem to be not sitting on the block good causing all the compression to leak from be.....
