#1 Level-1 Member Tony D   OK, you could .. but why? Getting the salt water out and the fresh water in is what is important. If you have salt and mineral built up, this may help clean a little of it out, but it won´t clean 5 .....

#1 Level-1 Member Lijoe   Bill don´t know anyting about the engine, but you are right it is a re-power. Chris Craft built (marinized) all its own gas engines until about 1979.

#1 Level-1 Member Ed   It all depends on how the boat is propped. If you are not familiar with this issue look up articles and posts on site. Even if you have a well propped boat running 200 off rated is not likely to give .....

Level-1 Member Pthein   I have been looking for a 3/8 thread 210 deg coolant temp switch - could even tolerate a 200 degree switch, but the issue is a 200 degree switch has a tolerance of +/- 12 degrees which is a 188 - 212 .....
