#1 Level-1 Member hugh C. Brock   I am assuming that there wasn´t any extra smoke coming out the exhaust. You probably aren´t getting enough fuel. I would suggest a vacuum gauge on the filters. Pull the fuel filters on the racor and.....

#7 Level-3 Member Got Diesel   Don´t use a 2 mic. filter it can induce air into the system, if you want a smaller one use a 10 mic.

#1 Level-3 Member Ski in NC   Warranty issue. Talk to the shop that rebuilt the pump. They may have screwed something up. Or timing may be off from the re-installation.

Level-1 Member Darrell   The Walbro FRB 12v fuel pump "runs only when fuel flow is required". I assume that means when head pressure is higher than pump pressure, the pump rests until head pressure drops below max p.....

Guest Brian Dwight   Just had fuel pump (both of them) fail in a DDEC 8V92. Found that the Racors had 2 micron filters. Being told this caused the failure, because of too much restriction. Any feedback would be great.
