Level-1 Member Cudjoekey   Have PSS Dripless Shaft seals on my C-12 43 Egg Harbor..Was in the Caterpillar Store talking with one of their mechanics when I mentioned that the plumbing to my shaft seal came from the upstream side.....

#1 Level-1 Member Tomas Kempe   I think your gear cooler has plugs for two zincs, you only need one. Use the rear port for the connection to PSS, I think it is a 3/8 ID tubing to PSS and get the barbed fitting to fit the cooler. I h.....

#2 Level-1 Member Jack   Though not on Cats I have my coolant water to the PSS´s coming from the pressure side of the raw water pump but there is a valve right at the pump which I keep set to quite a low flow. Would be skepti.....

#3 Level-1 Member Tomas Kempe   The flow has to be from the pressure side of the raw water pump. I assumed the gear cooler was on the pressure side since fuel cooler is on the suction side. Lot of suction on those then.
