I have had two intake valves fail in the past 9 months. Both were the original 1 keeper design. All valves in that engine now replaced with the new 4 keeper design.

Made a short trip for fuel, on the way back ran at full throttle for less than 5 min. When I throttled back to cruise the port engine started blowing white smoke,a lot.

Does anyone have the actual MAN specs for the 10Cyl 2840LXE 820hp Exhaust Temperature. I´d like to know temp at particular RPM and what ambient and water temp that is at.
