Level-1 Member Riley   Have QSC540´s that exhaust black smoke at initial throttle up to cruise. After a few seconds, it goes away. Not a wisp of smoke any other times. Is this a problem?

#1 Level-1 Member Maka Koa   Did this just atart? One idea would be that engine is overpropped. Black smoke indicates partially burned fuel & could be due to an overloaded engine. Once RPM´s come up, fuel begings to burn more .....

Level-1 Member The Morgan Jane   I have a 2005 48 Sea Ray with QSC8.3´s. The port engine maintains a Temp of around 175 deg whether I am trolling or cruising. The Starboard engine varys in Temp for 145 deg to 188 deg. depending o.....

Level-2 Member Dsaypol   I have 2 QSC 8.3 500 hp Cummi....when changing the zincs (total of 6 in each engine)and removing the brass holders, several of the old corroded zincs broke off and can´t be retrieved. I assume this is.....
