Black Smoke At Initial Throttle Up |

Have QSC540´s that exhaust black smoke at initial throttle up to cruise. After a few seconds, it goes away. Not a wisp of smoke any other times. Is this a problem? |

Did this just atart?
One idea would be that engine is overpropped. Black smoke indicates partially burned fuel & could be due to an overloaded engine. Once RPM´s come up, fuel begings to burn more ..... |

Yes at 1400 start to get black smoke

I know I need to repitch my props but I need some help.
Boat is a 41 Riviera, engines are 540 QSC´s. Fully loaded weight is 35,000+.
WOT rpm is 2530 fully loaded at 27.5 gallons per hour per engi..... |
