I am planning to repower a 1987 Trojan 10.8 with Yanmar 315hp diesels, 1:2.43 gear, 21x25 four blades props. Anyone has used these engines in this model?

I am rebuilding a Trojan 10.8 sedan and have decided to repower with Yanmar 315hp with a 2.43 transmision. It used to have DD 315hp but the performance was poor.
Anyone has experience with Yanmars ..... |

Just bought boat had a 302 gas attempted to put 290hp vortec gas in and found bellhousing was to large to align with shaft. It would require extensive deck work in order to move moter forward along s..... |
