I would like to know if it is possible to repower my boat with a diesel versus the present mercruiser 350. Actually I would like to repower with twin diesels as I use this boat for offshore fishing.

Hello,
I have a SeaRay 420 Sedan bridge (2003) with two Cummins 480C-E motors. I am interested in finding out if it is possible to change those motors for two Cummins QSM11 (Sea Cruise Package).

Thinking about repowering 1992 44 SunDancer...originally with 375HP 3208TA´s...considering Cummins 450HP or a comparable Yanmar. Anyone have experience with either repower ....good or bad? |
