Guest RracnRod   I am looking at removing the 318 Chryslers from my boat and putting in some diesel engines. Does anyone know of a good diesel engine that would be a good replacement for this boat? It is a 1968 32´ Lu.....

#1 Level-1 Member Tom   It would take a lot of money, far more than the boat is worth. I´d guess about $50 - 60k minimum by the time you do all fuel syatems, struts and shafts. For that money you could find a very nice newer.....

#6 Guest RracnRod   I found a Luhrs today in Alamitos shipyard that did the same repower I want to do. Remove 318´s and put Yanmars in. They used the Yanmar 140´s but I think I will put bigger in. The guy said it cost ne.....

#2 Level-1 Member Lucky Jack   Thanks for reply. I should have mentioed two things. The tachs are Faria not standard Yanmar and have been strobed, calibrated and are accurate. Also the transmissions are twin disc 5011A 1.44:1. Not.....
