heat exchanger caps on both engines leak. what is the proper cap pressure and can you test? Mechanic says heat exchangers should be removed and necks must be rebuilt to stop leaking.This seems pretty ..... |

You can test but I wouldn´t bother. Best to replace the caps. Any local radiator shop should be able to do this pretty quick and cheap, replacing a cap is pretty simple. It may be repairable, but caps..... |

My 3196 cat dropped from 1975 rpm to 1200 under cruise and strarted blowing heavy smoke. I was able to continue the cruise to port after determining that nothing was overheating or reading any malfunt..... |

Will the fuel temperature rise if the line is airlocked? My fuel was up in temp, above 100F, and usually ho;s a temp af about 54 F. will this happen when the engine is airlocked?.
