The serial numbers are 3JK00376 and 3JK00377. They are rated at 1250 hp. If these are 3412C PEECs, what should I be looking for? I assume they should start cold, and not smoke much after r..... |

Unless the sample was contaminated, an oil sampling test is showing water in the sump. What´s likely to be the problem: intercooler or head gaskets ? |

My 3408 has its raw water leaving the engine pump and heat exchanger and then traveling to the engine rear.

I am having bad luck with rebuilding of Gilkes type raw water pumps on 3412c. They leak from seals every 12 to 18 months. I am considering change to Jabsco, or maybe replacing with new or reman Gilkes..... |
